Overview
This course is a two-year program where students learn various tasks and skills required for employment in the gaming industry.
11th & 12th Grade
The Video Game Design program is a two-year program located at the Career Center at Riverside High School. Students will gain advanced knowledge and skills in computer programming and the use of real-time development platforms (Unity & Play Canvas), also known as video game engines and other technological applications. Students will learn programming languages such as JavaScript and C# which are highly used in the industry. Another focus of learning is the development of Virtual Reality on Unity. The primary goal is to have the students graduate from the program with their Unity User Programmer certification and the skills needed to continue their college education or industry career.
